On this weeks episode of Culturation™ we speak with the Human Performance Coach, Ben Kenyon. We discuss the importance of relationships, creating a consistent routine, and learning to be patient.
Ben is a human performance coach, international speaker and entrepreneur based out of Portland, Oregon. Having spent the last seven years as a performance coach for the Portland Trailblazers, he’s now shifting his focus to transition his passion project into a global brand, Great Day Squad, that will have an impact far beyond himself. This fire was stoked by a life event that felt like a devastating hit for someone who’s life is centered around fitness and exercise; he was diagnosed with a heart aneurysm. He entered into a new and incredibly difficult reality where his mental and physical wellness was being challenged and questioned. After grappling with this for months, he slowly started to lean into his fitness routine again, starting with running. As he traveled to different cities across the country during the NBA season, he started sharing the runs with his social media community which unknowingly started to address the mental wellness component of his journey. Through this experience he began to weave his life passions into a mission to encourage others to move, inspire and connect so that, despite mental or physical roadblocks, they can live life to the fullest.
