GB Season 1 Ep. 1 || Holy Crap, I’m Grieving Now What?
w/ Libby Carstensen
Writer Chuck Palahniuk wrote in “Fight Club,” “It’s only after we’ve lost everything that we’re free to do anything.”
It’s all words until a loss happens to you, and you experience that feeling of groundlessness that Chuck Palahniuk writes about in “Fight Club.”
I’ve been there, and I’ve grieved that.
This is a show that talks about something most of us would rather not talk about – that thing is called grief. You’ll find out why I call the show Grieve Better. From personal experience, I know it’s possible to grieve better with the right support, the correct information, and the willingness to get better at feeling.
Every week on the Grieve Better Podcast, we want to share something you maybe didn’t know about grief to expand your perspective. Some weeks that thing will be shared by one of our guests or me. This week it’s me.
We explore the different types of loss, the impact on our bodies and our brains, and begin to explore ways to cope with change we didn’t ask for to grieve better together.
Let’s get grieving!
