There is no one size fits all approach to grief.  This is why even though my sister and I had the same dad, we grieved his death differently. What was left unsaid and undelivered for me was different than what was left incomplete for my sister.  Differences in grieving can be hard to understand within family, friends, or co-workers, leading to further isolation while grieving.

So, what can we say to someone who’s grieving?

In this episode, we explore what to and what not to say to someone who has suffered a loss. We get clear on what we need to feel heard, seen, and appreciated with a Grieve Better exercise that you can use with your friends and family.    Plus, we explore the underrated emotional and physical experience of having a good cry.
